My name is Caleb. My family currently lives in Kentucky, where I am a part-time barista and my wife is a part-time nurse. With both of us working part-time, it allows us to spend more time on what really matters.
With that said, I started this blog to record our pursuits of an intentional life. We believe that our purpose as human beings is to flourish. And we believe that flourishing means to become as human as possible, as much like we were created to be as possible. Therefore, in simplest form, we believe that we are to love God, love others, and love the earth.
However, flourishing does not come without being intentional. When we do not seek to be intentional, it is easy to fall into unhelpful, stagnant routines.
Thus, The Intentional Voyage has come about. Voyage refers to a long journey, usually by boat (hence the logo). But this a metaphorical voyage. (No, sadly, we do not live on a houseboat, though that would be cool.) Here, voyage is simply referring to this path that we are on, a long journey, seeking to flourish by being intentional.
